Dear Clients and Friends,

I am writing to announce my retirement, effective September 30, 2022. It has been a privilege to serve you over the past 35 years, and I will miss all the challenges of anesthesia and pain management coding, billing, and compliance. 

As many of you know, ACE merged with Hank.AI in October 2020. Jack Neil, MD, and CEO of Hank.AI, fully supports continuing the auditing and coding services. You have his assurance that our services will not be altered in any way.

With that said, I am leaving you in very capable hands. Kayla Lee, CPC, who has been with ACE for over eight years, will take over all my administrative and leadership responsibilities. Most of you already know and love Kayla. She has kept us on track and has been invaluable as we have grown. If you need anything, Kayla should be your first call.

The audit team led by Susan West, Lynette Peterson, and Deena Gauthier will all stay and continue to serve your compliance auditing needs. This talented team was joined by Danny Hammond last year, the original developer of the ACE auditing tool, and through his work, we continue to improve and automate the audit process as a company.

Amelia Dinh is stepping in to coordinate the coding division. We have 25 excellent coders who are all dedicated to coding quality, accuracy, and timeliness of your daily coding needs. Everyone on the team has in-depth knowledge of anesthesia coding and the EMR systems where documentation resides.

I will continue to serve on the Hank.AI Board of Directors and help guide them with their overall mission of helping humans with technology solutions. 

It has been a fantastic ride, and I appreciate all the support and friendships I have developed over the years. I will truly miss all of you!
